BARBARBEN BARBIES - A Wild Women Circus is a new circus show with a power punch of silliness!
These five bold superheroines are here to amaze and delight you with their artistic talents whilst you laugh along with their wicked sense of humour. The Barbaren Barbies playfully tease stereotypes and tackle the complexity of womanhood. A true ode to the hilarity of the human condition wrapped in a big fat circus bow.
After residencies throughout 2021, the company premiered in March 2022 at Berlin’s Pfefferberg Theater. From Spring 2022 the company has toured throughout Germany, Austria and Poland performing at theatre houses and circus festivals. In August 2024 the barbarians successfully debuted at the Edinburgh FRINGE Festival with Underbelly in Scotland.
